The lead single is nice disco/funk track, and there are nice synthpop and dance tracks.

Lindsey's songs are just plain goofy. Stevie is hit or miss. the member who i think is on fire here is Chris. I LOVE her songs here. Mick "Love in Store " is fantastic!
bluefox4000
Dan Fogeberg-Home Free (5/10) i never really play this much and i ckinda stand by that. in fact this listen didn't help. i liked it LESS, lol I tell you what i like To the Morning. Hickory Grove Looking For A Lady and i think that's about it. the rest just sounds demo like and kinda amatur-ish. and Dan's voice grates on me through much of it. Harsh maybe.....but it's my feelings. Give me ANYTHING after this. Mick

I corrected your rating for you... ...I'm sure it was just a clerical error. This is my most replayed FM album. I love everything about Mirage. bluefox4000
Dan Fobelberg-Souvenirs (9/10) This is such a vast improvement over Home Free in ever way. Production, Songwriting, Playing, the vocals. this was released two years later so it makes sense. but for me it's where Fogelberg grabs his own identity. not Dan Mitchell....Joni's brother, lol Mick

I'd add the Tonka Chapman years to that as well. They were incredible right up to Making Contact. One hell of a run.

TheAccountant
Been a while since I have posted - just been busy. So busy I have not pulled any more albums from the moving box but I have been listening to bits and pieces of music on youtube. Finally got so interested in a few bands I decided to give them a full fledged try so: In Extremo - Kompass zur Sonne What the heck is this you may be asking. Well, In Extremo are a medieval folk metal band from Germany. Yes, they sing in German and I don't speak any German so I don't know what the heck they are singing about. But it sounds good to my ears!! Got interested in them when I watched a youtube video of a 2022 set they did at Wachen. What a show!! The crowd was really into them and from the looks of it I think they headlined the day - perhaps even closed the festival out. I just watched the show and kept saying "what the heck is this? A heavy metal band with harps, medieval trumpets & bagpipes? They are awesome!!" Somewhat more medieval then metal but still very metal. Good album - a very interesting find.
