I voted for Christine because that's the right answer, but I still prefer Stevie's voice. Sometimes a bands best pure singer isn't the most interesting one.

 

In my opinion Mike Mills is a better singer than Michael Stipe in REM, Bones was a better singer than Peter Garrett in Midnight Oil.

 

So in that sense I think Christine is better than Stevie.

Christine has a subtly, smoothness and richness to her voice that is hard to match. She conveys emotion in a way that few can, and that's what art is all about.
