In Flames- Reroute To Remain

Blind Guardian- A Night At The Opera

My three favourite bands at the moment, I seem to play little outside these guys these days.

A View from the Top of the World - Wikipedia

I adore this album! I didn't love it as quickly as I did Distance Over Time, but now it's been a while, I think it's the stronger of the two.

Glad to see The Astonishing was just a bump in the road, they remain exceptional.

Black Sabbath-Vol 4 (9/10)

i'm still not a big fan of Ozzy's vocals.  though he gets better as the slbums go.

BUT bill and Geezer are rapidly becoming my fav rhythem section in rock/metal/whatever.  Bill reminds me of......Remember animal from the muppets....lol.  he just bashes the holy hell outta those drums.

and Geezer my fav member.....i just hone in on what's hes doing most of the time.  it's chaotic but insanely musical.  like he knows exactly how to play for each song.

and Tony Iommi is Tony Iommi and that's a compliment, lol

Black Sabbath-Sabbath Bloody Sabbath(10/10)

boy for a band known for one style (a style they should be known for BTW)  This a really musically Diverse album.  and they added synths which i'm surprised they don't really get flack for, lol

but it's fun hearing them strech out musically here.

Alter Bridge- The Last Hero

I forget how much I love this album. It might actually be my favourite.

Alter Bridge- Walk The Sky

Very good album, not my favourite. I hope the next album is stronger.

Judas Priest- Screaming For Vengeance

Every time I return to Judas Priest, a different album super stands out to me. It's the turn of SFV. What a masterpiece this is!

Close to my favorite from them. Certainly the best opening of any JP album as far as I'm concerned.

I love Judas Priest so much. Whilst I think I'm a bigger Maiden fan overall, the thing I love about Priest is that I still feel like they are *new* to me. I always come back to them and find myself excited. Maiden give me that too, but I am way more familiar.

It would be impossible for me to do a Priest ranking.

It gets really hard for me after the first couple. I'm a bigger JP fan, but that's more to do with not really "getting" Maiden the first few times I tried them. It wasn't till I played 2 Minutes To Midnight on Guitar Hero that they suddenly clicked for me,
