Wouldnt Tai Shan be the encore?

I don't think you do an encore for an empty house. LOL

No "Broon`s Bane" - maybe it could segue into Madrigal?

Broons Bane is awesome, and of course is the original intro to The Trees which got nixed from the studio album by Brown. Alex made damn sure it got on ESL though. I could never include it on a sarcastic list like this. BTW I really enjoy 75% of the songs on this list. Only the last few suck.

10. Set 1 Closer (with drum solo): La Villa Strangiato

11. Set 2 Opener: Bastille Day :haz:

13. Something for Nothing

14. The Necromancer

20. Encore: Hemispheres :haz:

How long is this show? 5 hours? :P

They play this gig in their prime and someone will have a stroke! Probably me!

:blaze:

If Before and After is replaced with What You`re Doing and Something For Nothing is replaced with Jacob`s Ladder, this set would do for me.

Notice how this slowly morphs from craft a metal set by Rush to, "Name some lesser known Rush tunes?" It's almost like a scientific law.

Are you suggesting that Cinderella Man isn't metal?!?

I thought of this before, and would do two separate reverse chronological order lists of twenty, and eighteen.  They are:

Headlong Flight

Armor and Sword

Nocturne

Time and Motion

Animate

Dreamline

Show Don't Tell

Mission

Marathon

Between the Wheels

Countdown

the Camera Eye

Jacob's Ladder

Xanadu

Cygnus X-1: Book One - the Voyage

Cygnus X-1: Book Two - Hemispheres

2112

Encore:

the Necromancer

By-Tor and the Snow Dog

Working Man

Caravan

Far Cry

One Little Victory

the Fear Tetralogy

the Enemy Within (Part I of "Fear")

the Weapon (Part II of "Fear")

Witch Hunt (Part III of "Fear")

Freeze (Part IV of "Fear")

Driven

Stick It Out

Force Ten

Territories

Kid Gloves

the Analog Kid

Natural Science

A Passage to Bangkok

Bastille Day

Anthem

Before and After
