Mine is probably And the Beat Goes On by The Whispers.

Your choice?

Most like Xennial 80s child me know them for Rock Steady. Never knew they had disco songs,

Todd In The Shadows just did this recently for One Hit Wonderland.

Oddly enough, that one hit wonder remake by Pseudo Echo is on his ten worst of 1987.

Love that song. Still can't believe Todd is just meh on it.

The Weapon?

I guess Sing a Song by Earth Wind and Fire would be R&B not disco.

Diana Ross - Love Hangover

I heard Love Hangover the other day in Walmart. I had forgotten all about that song, but my first thought on hearing it was Studio 54.

I never left; it was just temporary because I couldn't get any internet in my new home.

But as for being back posting the way I used to,then, no - not for the foreseeable future, although anything can happen at any time that would change that.

I miss the place.

I'm going to provide a Canadian music history lesson.

There's a pop singer named Patsy Gallant who had a #1 hit on the Canadian adult contemporary charts in 1976 titled "From New York to L.A."

The song has a disco vibe to it.

You can read about the origins of the song here.

I wasn't aware of the song until a few years ago when I heard about it on a CBC radio special.

 I remember that one! She was from New Brunswick."From St John to T.O."

Remember her other "big hit"?

I remember as a kid hearing this 1978 disco song 'Boogie Woogie Dancin' Shoes' by Claudja Barry on the local Canadian AM radio station.

All these years gone by, I never knew who the artist was and discovered this by accident just now from finding this post here.
