I don't know how someone smart enough to write all that conceptual socio political commentary he puts in his lyrics doesn't see how silly it looks that he goes around touring The Wall by himself instead of his own solo material while Gilmore and Mason aren't dead. Like, use your head man, regardless of how good your solo stuff is or how many people would love to see you tour it, you go around living off the success of your old band instead. Why is that? Is it because you're trying to get the most people to come to your shows possible? Because a fantastic way to do that would be to put a pin in the hot air balloon on your shoulders and reconcile with the remaining band members and tour as Pink Floyd again, which would immediately become the biggest grossing tour of the last decade or so if it happened.

How old are they all?  More than old enough to get over it, you would think.

Oh yeah don’t get me wrong, I would absolutely love to see his show. But yes, so would love to see it that much more with Nick and Dave.

Jimmy Eat World

1. Futures

2. Invented

4. Bleed American

5. Surviving

6. Clarity

7.  Chase This Light

8. Damage

and i don't like the first 2 records.

Cause the new albums coming

Alter Bridge

1. Fortress

2. Walk the Sky

3. Blackbird

4. AB III

5. One Day Remains.

6. The Last hero.

TLH is the only AB album that has zero redeeming qualities for me ad it's the only AB album that sounds tired and bored.

WTS was a great comeback and easily my 2nd fav.

Ever since yesterday I was thinking I'd do an entry for King Crimson, but they might be the one band I can't do this with.

So instead, here's another band I love, but one who making a list for is a no-brainer:

Death:

(5/5)

1. The Sound of Perseverance

2. Individual Thought Patterns

3. Human

4. Symbolic

(meh:)

5. Spiritual Healing

6. Leprosy

7. Scream Bloody Gore

I'm going to try to rank the first ten Rhapsody/Rhapsody Of Fire albums:

10. Symphony Of Enchanted Lands II (The Dark Secret)

9. Triumph Or Agony

8. The Cold Embrace Of Fear

7. Frozen Tears Of Angels

6. From Chaos To Eternity

5. Rain Of A Thousand Flames

4. Dawn Of Victory

3. Symphony Of Enchanted Lands

2. Legendary Tales

1. Power Of The Dragonflame

I still have not heard the remaining albums from Rhapsody Of Fire, but I can't wait.

If anyone cares (and no one does), my top five is all from their first era, when they were simply known as Rhapsody.

Haken

1. The Mountain

2. Vector

3. Virus

4. Visions

5. Aquarius

6. Affinity

re-evaluating:

1. Virus

2. The Mountain

3. Vector

4. Visions

5. Affinity

6. Aquarius

the problem, if you could call it that, is that all their albums are fairly consistent with one another. expecting the new one to top the list

Little River Band (original Glenn Shorrock/Beeb Birtles/Graham Goble era only)

1. Sleeper Catcher

2. After Hours

3. First Under the Wire

4. Diamantina Cocktail

5. Time Exposure

6. Little River Band

Not a fan of the John Farnham era at all.  awful fit for the band.  Glenn DID come back later on but Beeb Birtles was gone so it didn't matter.   for myself and most fans Shorrock Birtles and Graham Goble  were the heart of LRB.  Take away even one and it doesn't really work.

Gosh i love LRB.  the original not the stupid ass in name only touring band going around now.
