Happy Birthday JB

Thanks Your_Lion

And to you, another fellow Marvel fan, I have these questions:

1) What Marvel character who hasn't been done yet would you like to see the MCU do?

2) Who would you get to portray that character?

That's a tough one...It's getting harder and harder to keep track of who has and who hasn't been used.

I'm currently enjoying reading John Byrne's 4th-wall-breaking run on Sensational She-Hulk. I would have said her. I think she'd be cool to see... but a little bit of checking and I notice Netflix has already announced a show for her.

I don't know who I'd get to play her, but preferably not an entirely CGI creation.

If Netflix does do a show...I can't wait for the inevitable Titania episode ;)

Hey! I've mentioned Byrne's She-Hulk to treeduck in pm many many times! Byrne...my favorite writer/artist of all time. I'm not counting Stan Lee or Jack Kirby since they're immortals.

I didn't know they're planning a Netlfix show for She-Hulk. If so, it probably wouldn't be CGI due to budget reasons. I'm not sure how I feel about her as a Netflix show...but it's not like I wouldn't watch it at least once.

In the '90s Brigitte Nielsen was set to play Jennifer & She-Hulk. There are still some pics around on the net of her as She-Hulk but the movie was never made.

Happy birthday!

Thank you Laura!

btw, what's the "bw" in your sn?

It's initials for maiden name and ex-married name, nothing too interesting, lol.

 Happy, happy birthday, JB !! Cheers to an awesome guy, discerning film critic and fellow Kurt Russell fan! I hope it's a great weekend for you !

Thanks a lot blueschica!

Somewhere I have an ooooold pic of me in some gas station near Moab, Utah posing like Kurt Russell in Breakdown (because that's where part of the film was made). I was moving/driving cross country at the time and told my buddy, "Did you know this is the same gas station where Breakdown with Kurt Russell was filmed?" He goes, "Really?!" I answered, "Sure. It can be if we let it. Now take a picture of me filling my car with gas." True story :)

Awesome! That is SUCH a creepy movie- I'm glad you escaped from Moab OK ! ;)

Kurt's had better movies but I don't think I've rooted for him more than in Breakdown.

Happy Birthday buddy!

Thanks Storm!

Woooooo!!! :hail:

btw, that looks like a Sal Buscema drawing but who is that character?

I think it's actually by John Buscema. It's one of those Marvel Third Eye black light greeting cards from the 70s. As for the character...

Loki! I've only seen him drawn like this a few times. I didn't know who it was the first time I saw him either.

Happy belated . . . and many happy more!

Thanks Toymaker!

Here are some of my favorite toys of all time:

In JB Toy Universe Battle Royale circa 1978, Hulk destroyed everyone...except for maybe Spidey. He might've crawled away with a few broken limbs if I was feeling generous. But Robin had a crushed aorta and Aquaman's spine was mush. Yeah, my 6 year old imagination was a little violent :blaze:

:P
