Rate the random hit song: Prince - Purple Rain

I'm not a fan of Prince but this song easily gets 5 stars from me.

It is a perfect pop/rock ballad. Prince mad some of my fav albums of that entire decade as well.

Same. It just never connected with me the way it does others. I'd give the album Purple Rain a 5 though.

Try as I might, I never clicked with his other work, but Purple Rain is incredible. I like how it's over 8 minutes and yet was a radio hit.
