JohnnyBlaze
This topic was done nearly a decade ago so it'll be interesting to see if the voting will change...given that there have been more Craig Bond films since then & that views on past Bond actors might've changed. Â Here's that old thread:http://www.therushforum.com/index.php?/topic/42308-the-best-james-bond/page__mode__show__st__20Â I'm going with Connery again. bluefox4000
I love Connery but Craig is better IMO. Craig is the best bond in a while. I like my bonds grittier so he's great. But connery got it cause he was the first Bond i saw. LOVE Craig though. Mick
Segue Myles
I don't care who was the first I saw. I care about who was the best. For me that is Craig and it isn't even slightly close.
Ancient Ways
To expound on Craig, I think he best personifies all of the needed elements. Connery and dalton were believable as a fighter but less believable as as a "British gentleman." Moore and brosnan pull off the gentleman part but I can't believe them in fights. Lazenby was not good which is too bad since that movie had potential. Craig is believable in all aspects.

Connery was Neil during the classic 70s albums. Moore as Neil during the synth years. Dalton & Brosnan were Peart from Presto to T4E. And Craig is 21st century Peart right down to hating it and wanting to quit.  And co-starring George Lazenby as John Rutsey. I'd revisit them, but I have other (seemingly endless lol) entertainment options to catch up on. Red Dwarf
Connery gets my vote!Enjoy all of his movies as Bond, but Dr.No is my favourite of his!The small matter of Honey Ryder emerging from the sea in her bikini did not sway me in any way!!! (Honest!) However the remake of Thunderball called Never Say Never Again (83) is pretty awful! One Bond too far!Don't mind the other Bonds but Pierce Brosnan after the excellent Goldeneye is distinctly lacking!
