  1. BIG NEWS: Coming In May Songs From The Wood - The Country Edition (3CD/ 2DVD) Steven Wilson Remix/5.1 Surround Sound Mix of the classic 1977 album plus two unreleased tracks, and a double live audio visual concert of Tull Live in America in 77! Will have to check the piggy bank again for this one? Don't suppose it will be cheap, but will be worth it. * Heavy Horses gets the SW treatment in 2018; Stormwatch in 2019!
  2. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICK :ebert: :ebert: :ebert:    :) :) :) ALL THE BEST! A CONNOISSEUR OF FINE TASTES IN MUSIC!
  3. Not much love for Under Wraps then? It was certainly an odd decision by IA to record an electronic album, though it was the early eighties!

  5. HAPPY BIRTHDAY PIP Love your taste in music! All The Best! :cheerleader: :yay: :hi:
  6. R.I.P Oh No! Yet more sad news. What an awful year 2016 has been for musicians who have passed away!
  7. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, YL Love reading what you've listened to thru the day Great taste in music !
  8. Fish drove them. seems like they just lost interest quickly with Hogarth. as every album has sounded pretty safe and Stagnant for a while now. Mick l It's a big shame they ownly made four albums with Fish! Really believe they could have been huge with more time together, but we all know the problems they had during the making of Clutching At Straws, therefore it was inevitable that the end was soon to come.Amazes me how good an album that is by the way! And fish made some Damn good solo albums after. Whicch shows me that era had more gas in the tank had they continued. , Mick Fish's first solo record,The Vigil In The Wilderness Of Mirrors, has always been a particular favourite of mine!

  10. Brave was the last Hogarth-era album that I enjoyed. This never happened with the Fish-era Marillion.I enjoyed them all! The day I heard Market Square Heroes,Grendel,Garden Party etc for the first time was a special day. Fish-era Marillion easily gets my vote!
  11. Great actor.Love his films, but my favourite is still The Vikings! One of my father's friend's was an extra on the film as a Viking, and he met Douglas when they were filming in Scandinavia and he told my father that he was so professional on the set but made all the extras feel at home! Met Tony Curtis too! By the way does anyone remember Tough Guys,a film he made with Burt Lancaster in the eighties? Quite a hoot! Respect!
  12. Making Movies.Tunnel of Love=Pure Class. Mark Knopfler solo is well worth a listen to! Sailing to Philadelphia is highly recommended!
  13. Connery gets my vote! Enjoy all of his movies as Bond, but Dr.No is my favourite of his!The small matter of Honey Ryder emerging from the sea in her bikini did not sway me in any way!!! (Honest!) However the remake of Thunderball called Never Say Never Again (83) is pretty awful! One Bond too far! Don't mind the other Bonds but Pierce Brosnan after the excellent Goldeneye is distinctly lacking!
