Will have to check the piggy bank again for this one? Don't suppose it will be cheap, but will be worth it. * Heavy Horses gets the SW treatment in 2018; Stormwatch in 2019!

  3. Not much love for Under Wraps then? It was certainly an odd decision by IA to record an electronic album, though it was the early eighties!
  4. 1. Stand Up 2. Aqualung 3. Songs From The Wood 4. Minstrel in the Gallery 5. This Was 6. Stormwatch 7. Heavy Horses 8. War Child 9. Broadsword and The Beast 10. A Passion Play

  6. R.I.P Oh No! Yet more sad news. What an awful year 2016 has been for musicians who have passed away!

  8. Fish drove them. seems like they just lost interest quickly with Hogarth. as every album has sounded pretty safe and Stagnant for a while now. Mick l It's a big shame they ownly made four albums with Fish! Really believe they could have been huge with more time together, but we all know the problems they had during the making of Clutching At Straws, therefore it was inevitable that the end was soon to come.Amazes me how good an album that is by the way! And fish made some Damn good solo albums after. Whicch shows me that era had more gas in the tank had they continued. , Mick Fish's first solo record,The Vigil In The Wilderness Of Mirrors, has always been a particular favourite of mine!

  10. Brave was the last Hogarth-era album that I enjoyed. This never happened with the Fish-era Marillion.I enjoyed them all! The day I heard Market Square Heroes,Grendel,Garden Party etc for the first time was a special day. Fish-era Marillion easily gets my vote!
  11. Great actor.Love his films, but my favourite is still The Vikings! One of my father's friend's was an extra on the film as a Viking, and he met Douglas when they were filming in Scandinavia and he told my father that he was so professional on the set but made all the extras feel at home! Met Tony Curtis too! By the way does anyone remember Tough Guys,a film he made with Burt Lancaster in the eighties? Quite a hoot! Respect!
  12. Making Movies.Tunnel of Love=Pure Class. Mark Knopfler solo is well worth a listen to! Sailing to Philadelphia is highly recommended!
  13. Connery gets my vote! Enjoy all of his movies as Bond, but Dr.No is my favourite of his!The small matter of Honey Ryder emerging from the sea in her bikini did not sway me in any way!!! (Honest!) However the remake of Thunderball called Never Say Never Again (83) is pretty awful! One Bond too far! Don't mind the other Bonds but Pierce Brosnan after the excellent Goldeneye is distinctly lacking!
  14. I feel your pain! Be Strong and Remember The Good Times! GOD BLESS.
  15. Selling England By The Pound In The Court of the Crimson King Hemispheres
  16. Two guitar greats, but Gary Moore gets much vote. His live performance of Empty Rooms from the We Want Moore live album is an emotional masterpiece! Always drives me to tears!
  17. The Man From UNCLE's Napoleon Solo,Robert Vaughn has passed away today. Loved his character in the iconic series, and he also starred along side McQueen,Brynner, etc in the classic western The Magnificent Seven.
  18. It's definitely in my top 10 of greatest progressive rock records! I think Steve Hackett gives his best G performance on this album.
  19. Got me thinking that now Phil Collins has come out of retirement, and has announced a small European tour next summer, what are the chances that the three-man Genesis version of the band could do some shows in the not to distant future? I suppose at lot really depends on how PC feels after his dates, and if he is able to tour with Genesis. He recently said that after writing his autobiography (Excellent read by the way!) it made him realise how much fun he had with Genesis and that touring again would be something he'd love to do in the future, but a new drummer would be required to replace him! A tour in 2018/19 would be really something to look forward to!
  20. Leftoverture.Kansas at their very best! And Magnum Opus as well!
  21. Both albums contain some excellent music, but for me IAW is the better of the two as I much prefer the vocals of James Labrie compared to Geoff Tate! Two quality albums!
  22. Fear of Music gets my vote from a great series of albums. Special mention for David Byrne's album he made with Brian Eno, My Life in the Bush of Ghosts. An extraordinary album!
  23. They made me a fan. I wasn't into anything I heard until I started from the beginning and followed their evolution. All killer, maybe a littler filler, until Kilroy. I hate that album and nothing that came after sounds or feels right to these ears. I really don't know what they were thinking of when they wrote Kilroy! As much as I want to like it, it doesn't happen at all! Still one bad album amongst many fine ones isn't too bad is it?
