Yeah, It's amazing how people rag on him at this point of his life. I can live with his voice no problem. Plus he is still the best kicka** Bass player!! :geddy: :geddy: :geddy: BTW, Don Henley is an idiot. I simply can not agree more..... :dweez:

The people that I have introduced Rush ( or liked them already) to throughout my life, and like them is mostly people that thinks deeply and digs both into music and lyrics ( not lazy people I mean)....they also learn to appreciate technical aspects of musical performance....they simply "get it"....the ones that don´t like them or even hate them is simply because they can not ( or do not want to) think fast enough to digest it... all being said with my respect..... Rush is the Thinking´s Man rock band, I read somewhere once.....from my experience, that is true... My 2 cents Happy 2016!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Favorite :geddy: Bass Player. Period.

Does he ever! That man is alive. I shook my head in wonder watching him during the Tulsa show video wondering how he does it. He must keep himself in very good shape. His enthusiasm is so evident. I guess being a wine lover + his fav pastrami on rye sandwiches w/ pickles on the side( kosher of course)+yoga sessions keep him on top shape.....his love for music and bass playing and collecting must help too!! :geddy:

All of Rush´s albums are a " non confessed " bass album by themselves...with all respect to the wootens and sheehans of the world...Geddy stands up apart...only Jaco had that kind of creativity on the instrument.... :geddy:

there will be R40 chapter II in 2016....I bet.

Watching Gedd play all those 20+ bass guitars is like heaven for me..... :geddy:

There will be a Roll the Bones Tour in 2016.....still going strong :rush: :7up:

Alex said probably before Christmas, and i think they will do all their best to achieve that, so we can have many Christmas gifts to give. I'll bet with you 1 . I have at least 5 in my Xmass list....better hurry up Rush!

The bass line by itself is a classic.....Geddo again.

There is some people that no matter how good or not he sounds they simply HATE his voice, don´t care about his bass playing, Alex´s playing and say Neil´s drums are a little bit" too loud" ; therefore they hate :rush: so I really do not care anymore...I just enjoy them......

If Phoenix (7/27) was not a sold out , must have been pretty close....US Airways was packed..... :rush:

They toured for 3 months + 2 month rehearsals in 2015.... total of 5 months work plus 2 breaks of about 10 days.. then .7 months home getting fat and stiff plus some family traveling... and will be back by spring 2016...you will see.Enough rest them working boys !!...they are at the top of their game, what a waste to stop now....the rare oak drum set plus the trailers of guitars and basses should be played for human enjoyment or otherwise be donated to charity !!! :rush: IMHO. ;)

Never thought I could like Rush more than what I already did.....but now after R40 I do like ´em even more!!!..... :rush:

Better have a 2nd leg 2016 because I am starting to suffer Post R40 depression.....any idea how to cope with???? :|

1.- When you think twice when you are asked what other rock groups you like besides :rush: 2.- When you say Geddy is the greatest on bass guitar ever ( sorry Ox) 3.- When you think there is nothing wrong about Rush´s backline and you find them interesting and intelligent. 4.- When you like all Rush´s eras ( 70´s, 80´s 90´s and 00´s 10´s etc etc etc) 5.- When your babies Lullaby songs are Subdivisions and Limelight ( this is really bad) 5.- When you think about Neil´s lyrics during the day.

1.- :rush: and other 19 with all due respect.

30 minute day walk at max speed possible.....green smoothie of Mexican cactus, celery, cucumber, spinach, parsley leaves, pineapple chunked, papaya,some whey protein,stevia, half banana, cocoa powder and go.....keeps me mentally focused, running smooths through the whole day and with little or no sugar cravings during the day.....

When I saw John Fogerty in 2012 he used 25 guitars. 25 guitars for 3-4 chord songs? I consider that overkill. Geddy is using 21 electric basses i stated...nobody has done it I repeat....

I think they are all happy...but Geddy is a consummate Entertainer...that´s the difference i think :geddy: Taking all those basses (21 if I am correct) on the road and playing all of them during the concert has never been done in the history of Rock and Roll that i can remember.....always looking for something to surprise his audience.... :banana:
