    I'm surprised Swede is still alive (as you might guess from my last post from the previous season). That dude is creep!!! It was pretty obvious he was gonna do what he did, so there was no surprise there. I think he plans on going to Salt Lake City to try to pass himself off as the Bishop there. The kid mentioned that his father was going to be the most powerful man there when they arrived and I think Swede is going to assume that roll.

    I would guess the string were more warmly welcomed solely for the novelty though. I don't think anyone expects it to be a staple on RUSH records from here on out. The keyboards, on the other hand became such a major component to the RUSH sound that the music they made in the 70's and that made in the 80's are almost 2 different bands. I remember back then people saying they liked the earlier RUSH stuff more than the keyboard stuff because they liked the guitar driven songs more. Today I find myself barely listening to any of the heavy keyboard stuff and only listening to the 70's stuff and wish they would go back to that formula.

    Never heard of 'em. Good idea though and it obviously works (pretty f'n well too!!!!) The perks are really cool, fun and funny. The artwork is great. The music....a little too busy and all over the place for my tastes, but they play well. Not a fan of the vocal melody at all. The lyrics were cool though. Too bad they'll never get the recognition they deserve for their hard work and talent...after all how can hard work and talent compete with Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber?

    Oblivion. Wasn't as bad as I'd heard. Visually it was pretty impressive and Tom Cruise is pretty good in it. Wasn't bad....Not great though.

    I've been to a shitload of shows and I'm having a hard time trying to think of a bad crowd. Probably the most difficult time I had at a show was in '93 at Nirvana at the Lakeland Center. It was general admission and the floor was packed with little room to move. Well as soon as Nirvana came out giant mosh pits started forming and the crowd was pushing and shoving and everyone was who wasn't in a mosh pit was being pushed around like a cork in the ocean. It was like that the whole show and it really sucked 'cuz I have almost no memories of the show at all and a couple months later Cobain was dead....Not that I really ever liked Nirvana but it was an event. That's about the worst crowd experience I can think of.

    On the T4E tour they played The Ice Palace (not sure what corporate name it has now) in Tampa which is pretty big (holds 20,000 or so). It's got 3 levels above the floor and the whole top level was curtained off and maybe half of the second level sold. Now I don't know if that was the smallest crowd but it was the show with the most empty seats. The smallest venue though was The Lakeland Civic Center which holds around 8200 on the HYF tour. I had front row right in front of Geddy!!!

    Someone mentioned they should have come back on stage after the crowd beat the crap out of the bottle thrower and I think that's the right move. Someone also mentioned they should be used to crap like that after 30 years of touring, I agree with that too. To kill the night for everyone at the show isn't cool. I understand the guy could have been hurt and all that but they should have continued after the situation settled down. Anyone remember the story of a RUSH show in Pheonix (I think) in '84 or so when Geddy had his eye split open by something thrown on stage? I'm pretty sure the story is that they finished the show and then Geddy went to the hospital. Gotta love RUSH.

    GORGEOUS. wow. :) Thanks guys :) I was trying out my new jeggings... they are advertised as being so flexible you can do yoga in them so I tested it out. Hope the Jeggings are more comfy than that pose looks. :o
