Best Respected Worst Acts
Invisible To Telescopic Eye replied to lerxt1990's topic in Music Of The Spheres
It's easy to find the acts that have gotten the most respect yet they suck....Just find the act, or member of an act that died recently...Let's see.. Warren Zevon (anybody know shit about him?) but when he died you'd of thought he was John Lennon. Here's another one. Johnny Cash...sure he had the attitude, and at one point the songs...but until he died recently you would have thought he died years ago. Janie Lane...Lets face it his songs sucked...But even on here after his death it was an ass kissathon. Tupac...I don't know shit about rap, but what I think of it is it sucks...for the most part and sure Tupac was a big star when he was alive...But since he's died...Holy shit he could have been Christ. The lists can go on and on...Sure there are overly respected suck ass acts still around...but if you sucked and then you die...That's when you really get the glory. -

Fletch: Dr. Rosen! Where's the records room!?!? This one. -

QUOTE (drbirdsong @ Feb 10 2012, 04:18 AM) Guard those children, sir... Benjamin Linus is lurking behind them. While looking at the first pic I was thinking, "What's he watching"?...But the second pic answered my question...literally. -
New 'Amazing Spider-Man' Trailer

QUOTE (JohnnyBlaze @ Feb 9 2012, 12:53 AM) And wearing thick, dorky glasses + a decent acting job can do wonders. You're 100 % correct....I mean look at Clark Kent...He had everyone fooled for years..and as far as I know is continuing to fool everybody. As for Spidey...This new one looks cool, but I'm really getting tired of this starting from the beginning crap although they do mention in the trailer a sort of untold story involving his past. -
Cool.

My wife watched this a couple of weeks ago and I sort of watched it. It was kinda cool but I didn't pay enough attention to really get it or have an opinion although there were a couple good parts. -

Porcupine tree and japan keyboardist other way 'round, mate Japan tree and porcupine keyboardist? -
Sting hated Behind My Camel and, because he didn't write it, he wanted it excluded from the record but it won a grammy because it's obviously better than YYZ.
