QUOTE (rushgoober @ Feb 25 2012, 08:50 AM) QUOTE (Invisible To Telescopic Eye @ Feb 25 2012, 04:30 AM) http://i602.photobucket.com/albums/tt104/maximumrule/Plan-9-from-Outer-Space-Poster-.jpg I've often seen this cited as one of those "it's so bad, it's good" movies, which is a sub-genre of badness that I find hard to watch since I quit drugs many years ago. Is it truly enjoyable? The closest I've come to this movie is seeing Ed Wood... It's intensely aweful....It's not so bad it's good, it's so bad it sucks out loud....It's one of those things you watchg just to say you've watched it but almost every minute is a living hell and you wish you could share a grave with Bela Lugosi just to end the agony.

TOP 10 FILTHIEST DUBSTEP DROPS
Invisible To Telescopic Eye replied to burgeranacoke's topic in Music Of The Spheres
I think there ares ome cool sounds in there and the bass is pretty wild...But what do you do to that music? My wife asked me if I was watching a stripper...so I suppose a stripper might like that music. You really can't dance to it, 'cuz the beat is kind of eratic...can't really tap your foot to it either for the same reason....Can't do air instruments...I suppose you could trip out on it. -

QUOTE (J2112YYZ @ Feb 23 2012, 10:02 AM) QUOTE (Invisible To Telescopic Eye @ Feb 23 2012, 05:26 AM) Finally watched the last episode....Didn't think it was that bad but would have liked to have seen Lori become lunchmeat. I thought the effect where the zombie was trying to get into the car was cool, the way it's face was peeling back. Yeah, that was cool. It also shows how the zombies have absolutely no thought at all in their heads. He could've just ripped the windsheild apart with his hands where the hole was but instead choose to shred up his face instead I'm still curious as to what exactly Rick, Glenn, Herschel and the dude with the wounded leg did all night before coming back to the farm? The zombies were coming as they were trying to get away and while they had guns, i'm not sure they had enough fire power to fight them all off through the night. I was thinking that as well. It took Glen and his main squeeze (whatever her name is) just a couple of hours to get there and back while riding horses. It took them in a truck all night to get back. I don't think they were in the bar all night as they were safer driving like a bat out of hell away from there. I thought Rick should have shot the tanks of propane he was near after he got a safe distance away and the zombies moved closer to them.

The only reviews I've seen or read on this show are here on TRF. Has anyone seen any other reviews of the show and do those reviewers have similar opinions to ours here?

That would be cool.

Invisible To Telescopic Eye replied to Drummerrobin's topic in Rush
R30...Covers or not they were songs done by not to mention I'd never heard them, or seen them play them before which was refreshing. Not to mention the rest of the set list, the video and the whole 30th anniversary thingy...oh yeah and that I was 5th row on THE 30th anniversary show July 29, 2004....What a great night on a great tour. -

The ones I have were given to me by Howard Ungerleider. Never got any from Geddy or Alex though....I'd never buy one though. http://i519.photobucket.com/albums/u351/Discipleoflerxst/100_6497.jpg -

bands with short careers
Invisible To Telescopic Eye replied to circumstantial tree's topic in Music Of The Spheres
QUOTE (drbirdsong @ Jan 23 2012, 11:36 PM) Dif Juz. They defined what would become the 4AD sound in the 1980s. They had far too short a career and not nearly enough releases. Amazing band: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mUbQiUv1QHo Never heard of "em but I listened to the link provided. Cool 80's sound dripping with reverb and chorus, but the song itself (and the video for certain) was pretty boring...But the sound was cool. -

QUOTE (ReRushed @ Feb 13 2012, 12:19 PM) QUOTE (nobodys hero @ Feb 13 2012, 11:13 AM) Too obvious when Lori got in the car to find Rick that she hit someone and flipped the car. Now that they no longer have to look for Sophie, they have to have someone else missing. I thought this stupid because we've already played this story. She's one of the worst characters I've ever seen on a television show. I'm not surprised the writers can't come up with anything original or interesting when it comes to her motivations. I agree....I can't stand her. Every scene she is in I'm like . I don't like her acting, her character or the direction the writers come up with for her. As for the last episode...again, not much happened. So they introduce a couple new people and kill 'em. Too bad 'cuz I think they could use some fresh meat on the show. I guess that was supposed to start setting Rick up as a bad ass actually can make the right decisssions. I'm not in love with the show, but I'm not gonna bail either. Oh it was definitely a zombie she hit....but the whole idea of her going out there was stupid to begin with...maybe she's gonna be the next zombie meal.

QUOTE (Perchance to Dream @ Feb 16 2012, 08:41 PM) QUOTE (Presto-digitation @ Feb 16 2012, 03:37 PM) At least Wolf is distributing his bulk out a bit now. He's still got some chunk, but he's obviously added a bit of muscle as he's gotten older too. Agreed. He's a big kid, tall like his uncle. I agree with both. First thing I noticed is that he put on some muscle and lost some fat....He could be huge though if he wanted to be.
