On a slight tangent, I still remember doing a major double-take many years ago when I bought the Signals gold release that had the missing line of vocals on The Weapon. I didn’t have any idea how any of this stuff worked back then and I couldn’t believe that an original song could be altered like that, and had even less of an idea of why it would be, lol!

Interesting, I’ll dig into that in just a bit, thanks. Yeah, the only other “different” thing (and one of the rare things I don’t have) were the HD stereo mixes of the catalog that were only made available for download. I don’t know much about how those were done but I was wondering if somehow those could have been accessed and disassembled and rebuilt as a different mix, unofficially.

OK - so not a 5.1 mix, but a remaster where the wrong mix was pulled. the “5.1” mix down above is likely a homemade version, using the Van Dette remasters. I’m sure you’re right. I don’t own the Sectors sets. But I remember reading about HYF and Mission mix.

Only one album in each Sector box got a 5.1 version. Fly by Night, AFTK, and Signals. The boxes each had those standard albums on CD and also the 5.1 mixes separately on DVD. Then those three were later released on Blu-ray as well, I’ve got all of that. I’ve never seen anything about HYF being done in 5.1. If it was done officially I’d sure like to learn about it because I’m shocked I’d missed it.

Interesting set list. I will limit my set list to 20 (mostly since Treeduck's challenge in the Priest thread was to limit the set list to 20 song). Churchill's Speech / Aces High 2 Minutes To Midnight Its easy (for me) to start the show with these songs. After that I can't tell you what the order of the set list would be - other than the last 2 songs of the night. Here we overlap set lists: The Number of the Beast Run to The Hills As for the 16 other songs, they would include the following: Paschendale (this is an easy one for me to include as its my favorite Maiden song by far - just listened to it before posting this and, as always, it almost reduced me to tears). Fear of The Dark Alexander The Great The Prisoner A lot of overlap between our lists. Shocked we both had Alexander The Great though. Painful for me to leave a number of songs off but hey, thats what happens with a great band like Maiden - lots of great songs through the years.

The sector box sets include 5.1 mixes but I’m not sure if all the albums got the 5.1 treatment, but HYF did for sure. I remember reading about how the wrong Mission mix got used for the 5.1, and it included this stunning string arrangement that - in my mind - takes the song to another level.

Ah ok then that makes sense, but is it remixed?

Two GREAT games so far today. Knicks-Sixers was a 48-minute war, back and forth all game. And now, after a first half that saw the Mavs down as much as 31 pts in the first half (which I slept through ), we have Dallas up 105-104 with 2:10 to go! ETA: Oft maligned James Harden has been clutch offensively for LAC in the 4th quarter.
