Wait a second...that's not Wakeman, it's Howard Hesseman.  Don't be fooled by cheap imitations.

More Yes music and less Nessman.

I saw The Anderson Ponty Band on Saturday.  It was a really entertaining show.  They performed a number of Yes tunes, a few from JLP  that Jon had added lyrics to, some new JA & JLP compositions and at least one JA collaboration from the past ("State of Independence" from Jon and Vangelis "Friends of Mr. Cairo) that is a favorite of mine from my first year of college.  The played for nearly 3 hours and really kept the show interesting. Jon's voice is in top form and I enjoyed Jean-Luc's violin far more than I expected. If you can see a version of Yes that includes Jon, or the ARW tour, I think you'll enjoy the show... Rock on!

I've seen Jon solo 4 times and he's always entertaining.   Love his story telling about the background of the songs.
Always an enchanting night.
