Sometimes people think they've been on the dark web, but it was really just the deep web.
On the deep web is where you will find the military sites and cooking with cannabis.
I haven't browsed the dark web myself, but I've done a lot of research on it.
A lot of materal on the dark web is illegal, but there is also some legitimate stuff.
People in some oppressed countries have been using it as a forum for political dissent.
There are also email services, men selling carrots, and knockoff Gucci bags.

I hope this book gets adapted into a screenplay.  It could be the first film ever made about the dark web.
It's the best novel I've read in the past 10 years. Dean Koontz and Peter Straub have both endorsed it.
The author has an MFA in creative writing and he has won 4 prizes for literature.
I think he must be a friend or a fan of Joe Hill because he makes a reference to Lock & key.

There is actually a TV series, but it's on one of those channels you probably don't get.

Why haven't you checked it out?  Do you have Tor (The Onion Router)?

Interesting topic, but as most noted you're being watched at all times. And from what I understand, simply changing the size of your browser screen can give you away.

That said, anybody know where I can buy a retro-style ICBM?   :D

There is no dark side of the web really. Matter of fact it's all dark.

Or maybe that's the moon..

What would you do if you went surfing on the Dark Web one night and discovered a page that was showing your room live on the internet. Your room right now and you in it, watching yourself in real time? And not just your room but you whole house and every room in there? And when you looked closely you could see that it was labeled DAY 856!!?

Creepy idea!  Are you spying on us??      The poor web cam watcher would probably be bored out of their mind if watching our house.  (After the worst of the OCD years with our daughter, it's ok !)

I'd be like :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: because I'm thinking: "who's watching me?!"

After a while I'd be like :rage: :fury: :rage: :fury: :rage: because I'm looking for the cameras.

Then when I've found the cameras I'd be :bang bang: :bang bang:   :bang bang:   :bang bang:   :bang bang:  them to smithereens.

And after that, I'd be relieved.
