Hey there, I'm Benjamin and I figured I'd introduce myself. I wasn't entirely sure where to put an introduction but I noticed a couple introductions here so I figured I'd post my introduction here and prepare to read a somewhat lengthy introduction. I originally got into Rush when I was 7 through my dad (I'm 14 now) and he had Chronicles, Moving Pictures, Rush in Rio, Rush, R30, and Feedback. I can remember refusing to listen to Tom Sawyer because the keyboard intro always scared me and I would never go back to listening to it ever again but I conquered that fear thankfully and that song remains one of my favorite Rush songs. I stopped listening to them for a few years and eventually came back to them when they started appearing in some of my radio playlists on iTunes. Around that time, I picked up the drums and have been playing Rush for a majority of the time I've sat behind a drum kit. Favorite to least favorite Rush albums consist of Moving Pictures, 2112, Permanent Waves, Farewell to Kings, Hemispheres, Signals, Power Windows, Presto, Roll the Bones, Fly By Night, Rush, Grace Under Pressure, Counterparts, Hold Your Fire, Snakes and Arrows, Clockwork Angels, Vapor Trails, Caress of Steel, and Test For Echo. I would probably have a field day with my all-time favorite Rush songs so I won't bore you with what songs I like and don't like. Musically, I am a partially self taught guitarist and drummer and a couple of my favorite guitarists are Randy Rhoads, Yngwie Malmsteen, Alex Lifeson, Eddie Van Halen, Jimi Hendrix, Brian May, and Steve Howe. Couple of my favorite drummers are Neil Peart, Bill Bruford, Stewart Copeland, Buddy Rich, Phil Collins, and Jeff Porcaro. I think that's long enough for an introduction because I don't want to bore all of you out there so I hope to have a good time on the forum.
