goose
Isn’t the 2016-2017 season over? Not enough NBA support on TRF to merit another thread. Just roll with it. OK. Durant played great in the Finals. :) Pretty sure we can still talk about 2018-19 in here, though.

goose
Second round should be much better!Yep. There aren't sixteen really good teams, just like there aren't 68 really good teams in the NCAA tournament. If each round of the NCAA was best of three, March Madness would be a lot less interesting. In basketball, fewer players have impact on the game's outcome and the player who probably has the greatest influence on a baseball team's game, the starting pitcher, plays once every five games. Fordgalaxy
Sweet justice for the Trailblazers eliminating the Thunder after the way Westbrook lost his damn mind and couldn't shut the hell up. That long distance 3 pointer was the way to do it too.

laughedatbytime
Hey, there was a single digit game in a series that went five! Meanwhile, nothing going on in the NHL first round. Except a double OT game seven involving the defending champs. NBA Action, it's fantastic!

Except a double OT game seven involving the defending champs. With games that exciting, the NHL should consider televising them. We gave up 129 points on our home floor. We weren't right from the very beginning." "Everything we did in LA, we didn't do tonight. We seemed to take it for granted that we were going to be okay." goose
Down the stretch, refs choose not to call denying the landing spot a foul? M'kay. Per the rule book: "Defenders may not move into the landing area of an airborne shooter. On this play, the defender continues moving forward and he walks under the shooter, affecting his ability to safely return to the floor. This is a defensive foul as the airborne shooter must be allowed to return to the floor safely." GS wins. Edited April 28, 2019 by goose
