I feel kinda lame wearing a t-shirt from a tour that happened over 10 years before my birth but at the same time, it's so bloody cool no reason to feel like that. We can't help when we're born. I used to have 3 other tour shirts;1. 79 Hemispheres tour I bought a red starman (silver symbol), which was worn to death, well until it became pink and then used when painting2. 80 PW tours. Grey with a bit of squiggle saying Permanent Waves and the tour dates on the back.3. Signals tour. Slightly different from the one on sale at the moment, the dates on the back were in different script. Crap album, crap gig! Pity I bought the T before the gig All t-shirts were official merchandise and other than the odd tour book the only other item I bought was a plastic Hemispheres' brain badge. I loved that badge until the pin became detached. I HAD a serious Shatner-load of t-shirts from MANY bands, but a bunch got ruined in a slight basement flood at my parent's house where they were "stored". I probably tossed out about 15-20 different shirts from the late 70's through the 80's. Thankfully my Rush shirts were all towards the top of the box, and didn't get ruined.
