Sadder still to watch it die, than never to have known it...

Fun fact: when i knew RUSH, they came to my country the year before.

I wished I did I went to way too many concerts in the 80's some I didn't pay to have a stub. Of the 50 shows I've seen I think I have maybe 10 stubs if I ever searched for them. It wasn't something I kept up with or was concerned about at the time.

I do wish I still had my old concert tees, which included a Signals baseball sleeve tee.

I did. Not old Rush shirts but old Hagar shirts from '83 and '84 and a Dio shirt from '84. Looking at them now I wonder how in the hell I ever fit in them.

I had a Hagar "no 55" tee from a show. Long gone, along with my DEVO shirt. That's the one I really wish I had...

The back of mine has the 55 with a circle and a slash line through it, and it glows in the dark.

That was the one!

Someone else mentioned the Signals baseball shirt in another thread just yesterday. My brother got one from that tour, too. :D

title....

I actually do not have a exact number of times i saw them. My best guess is 15.

But more importantly I could have framed them and made a cool display for my home office.

Really wish i had my original albums and other collectables i had

Anyone else feel this

Oh yeah,

And not just Rush. After I left for Alaska back in 81' My sister ended up losing all of my personal belongings I left with her. I had so many concert stubs and other stuff.

Ouch! That hurts. :(

I have all of mine, too- all eight of them, over a period of 25 years.

But I'm grateful for every single one!

I have all of my ticket stubs in an album...my first Rush stub was the first of two nights, so there's no indication of who the band is, I guess because they didn't want people trying to sneak in with a ticket for a second night....but the rest you can see, although some are kind of faded.

I've seen about 120 total concerts over the years, and have about 100 of the stubs in ticket albums

I had every single ticket stub saved to every concert I ever attended. Even had an unused Fillmore East ticket that I never used (to see The Guess Who in 1970). i figured that would get a lot of money one day. For whatever stupid reason, I always carried all of them around with me in my wallet. Then one day we went skiing in upstate New York and locked all of our stuff in the trunk of the car. It was all stolen and never recovered. I was devastated. Never saved ticket stubs again.

Oh nooooooo . . . . . I'm glad you still have the memories. My daughter asked me one time what groups I had seen in concert when I was young. I said, "Not that many," and it really wasn't compared to my sister, who was really an avid goer, or friends of mine that didn't work nights like I did for awhile, but I was still naming names like 5 minutes later; it was fun that she asked!

Could that enter the vernacular now, to express a multitude of things that being us down?

I can hear it now...- "I'm experiencing a whole bowling pin of sadness."

Or maybe not.

A great shirt! Mone was missing the black ink, which gave it a cool effect.
