Xanadu
Lock and Key: "I don't want to face the killer instinct, face it in you or me" What I initially heard (and apparently someone else on Facebook, so I don't feel so bad!):"I don't want to face the killer instinct, face it in New Orleans".

TexMike
Just recently realized the line in Far Cry is "I can get back ON", not "I can get back HOME" like I'd thought for years.
Xanadu
Just recently realized the line in Far Cry is "I can get back ON", not "I can get back HOME" like I'd thought for years. I thought that myself. It's part Geddy's fault though, for adding a silent "h" sound at least once when singing the word "on". ;)

Rushman2112
Oh and of course, "Fly By Night:... Chickens are coming and I just can't pretend.I had that lyric wrong until I just looked it up. I had the opposite meaning. Instead of "My ship isn't coming and I just can't pretend" I thought it was "My ship is a-coming and I just can't pretend" Not as funny but still wrong.
gypsy muse
In Tom Sawyer, instead of Geddy singing "but change is" I thought it was "Love changes" I was sad to give that one up, when I found out the real words.
