The Heart of Everything. yes i'm starting now, lol

1. The Howling- This is Certainly Meat Loaf/Steinman like.

also i hear a bit of Evanecsence.

Love the Strings. i could see like a dragon flying overhead in my mind while listening to this.

Mick

Within Temptation are what Evanescence could sound like if they stopped pretending they are the most important band of their generation.

WT all the way!

2. What Have you done.

I love the Techno effects in The first Verse. Oh a male voice. This is so dramatic. It's a major plus. These guys need to get Steinmen to produce a record. could be interesting.

Love the celtic middle part.

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE NOW?!!!!!

lol.

3. Frozen.

Beautiful vocal on this track. this Album so far is BIG. and cinematic. This song could fit into an Andrew Lloyd Webber rock opera.

this is very Amy lee like. think my Immortal but way better.

great song.

Oh the chior's here, lol.

The vocal here is more operatic now. and latin in the Chorus. boy i caould see how this band could be hated. but i don't, lol

This is like Gothic music on steroids.

i half expect bats to fly in, lol

Love the guitar solo.

Steinmen would drool.

See I love the Meat Loafiness of this record.

I don't really dig Meat Loaf.

But I worship this band. Top three for me.

Mick, you need the Let Us Burn DVD.

They live up to their sound onstage.

They embrace the Cray Cray cheese and she is EVEN BETTER LIVE!

6. Hand of Sorrow

Lol. I noticed it'll star soft and they'll immediatly be like.......ok enough back to loud, lol

I love this woman's voice.

like Tarja but less annoying.

I love the Chorus to this one.

Love the quiet break before the 2nd Chorus.

They need to release a version of this with just the strings. they are gorgeous.

Great hollowen record.

i could scare the kids with this, lol

Final Destination is based on the movie.

And many of the lyrics are based on A Song Of Ice And Fire (aka Game Of Thrones).

They were one step ahead of the rest of the world!

This just Reminds me so much of Evanescence.

I don't hear Evanescence much now, but I did when it first came out.

Give them a few more spins and they sound just so gloriously unique.

Within Temptation love to entertain. A lot of heart, but they just love bombast.

They have an album of covers, including Bruno Mars, Sia and Lana Del Rey songs. Beautiful!

Been a fan eleven years. I discovered them on the SAME day as Lacuna Coil, Nightwish, HIM and The Cure. These five bands shaped my tastes for life.

The Silent Force is a softer record. My favourite of the band.

Also, they have an acoustic live album/DVD.

She is amazing live. Even with a cold (The Black Symphony DVD is often referred to in the Goth metal community as the greatest live DVD released. She had a cold. Blows me away.).

10. The Truth Beneath the Rose

Ok. Longer Track. I just picture this band rocking out while going through dark forests, lol.

I hear Kate Bush now. Definatly in her higher notes.

A Kate Bush collaboration would be INSANE.

This one feels the most like it could fit in a fantasy film.
