treeduck
Led Zep II is mine. Physical Graffiti is the favourite album of the Led Zep poser fans.Houses of the Holy is the favourite album of the Led Zep pervert fans.Led Zep IV is the favourite album of the plastic Led Zep fans.Led Zep III is the favourite album of the girly girls.Led Zep I is the favourite album of the grandad Led Zep fans.Presence is the favourite album of Led Zep fans with a broken leg in plaster. In through the Out Door is the favourite album of the deaf Led Zep fans.Coda is the favourite album of Led Zep fans.who work in charity shops. I thought Zep II was for posers and PG was for Zep purists..? :P Zep II has the best riffs. I'll definitely give it that. Zep II was so over played. By radio and by me. Time to move on. I Can always dig PG, too much on there to get tired of it. And treeduck: YES! Dammit yes!The fact that you or the radio overplayed it isn't the album's fault, Led Zep II is still Led Zep II, exactly the same album as it always was. If you overplayed it that's your problem. Hopefully for your sake you'll learn not to do that, and learn to turn the radio off, or turn the channel. custom55
Back in the day, Houses and Physical Graffiti were my favs (actually I probably cycled through all of them...) My band in high school used to play every LZ song. Love them all. For the past few years, I would say Presence has been my fav I was in college when Presence was released. The day it was released, I cut class just so I could be at the record store when it opened... I grabbed a copy of Presence and drove back to my dorm to play it LOUD. http://youtu.be/Rs-oBeV8FDc Edited September 17, 2014 by custom55

len(songs)
LZII is a bit of a dilemma for me. Side two is excellent but side one is a bit too same-y for me, and I never liked Whole Lotta Love as much as most... ...Ah, who am I kidding? This is the person who called HYF metal after all.. ReRushed
Let's face it, as far as studio albums go, Led Zeppelin ALWAYS trimmed the fat. Rush did the same thing for most of their career.

LedRush
HOTH. Rain Song, OTHAFA, and No Quarter are among the best songs any band has ever made. No song is not great, and the Crunge is hilarious and fun. TSRTS is amazing, as is The Ocean. The debut is probably my second favorite, though you can't go wrong with any of the albums, even if the last two real albums are less consistent than the others.
LedRush
I'm surprised that PG won this. It has more great music on it than other albums, but looking at proportions, it is lower than 1, 2, 4 and HOTH.

H. P. L.
After a youth spent with Zep 24/7, you could hardly convince me to listen to their stuff again. The only exception is the folk songs. So III is my choice. Gallows Pole!
The Analog Cub
I'm surprised that PG won this. It has more great music on it than other albums, but looking at proportions, it is lower than 1, 2, 4 and HOTH. I can't pick PG cause it suffers from double album syndrome. Some of the stuff on side 2 doesn't really gel with me, like Night Flight and Down By The Seaside. It has some really neat stuff like In The Light and Ten Years Gone, though. Really digging Tea For One a lot lately, and Bonamassa did a fantastic cover of it.

Zeppelin's career reminds me so much of the original Ozzy era Sabbath. 5 classic albums to start out. A sixth that's half classic, half not. And two final albums that are good if you're a fan.
bathory
I would consider sabotage and PG classics, but not close to the best. they're valid picks, of course.
