It's just about Springtime in Western Wisconsin, and the eagles are getting busy!

DoL and I went to Moab, Utah the last week of December to cross off that elusive fifth Utah National Park--Canyonlands. :)

Hiked Grandstaff Canyon outside the park. Formerly named Negro Bill Canyon. Formerly named something worse than that.

Quite the location for contemplating one's utter insignificance in the universe..... :D

Dragged a buddy to a silly little spot in northern Utah--Spiral Jetty, a "sculpture" of rocks an artist created in 1970 on the north side of the Great Salt Lake, in the middle of nowhere.

I'm going to be moving to New York's Southern Tier later this month so I figured I'd explore the area last night

I've always found giant power grids that cut through rural areas to be strangely beautiful

Did you go on private property in order to get these shots?

I also find it strangely pretty. It's like seeing them cut through an entire landscape like a knife.

I visited a series of trails in the woods near one of the hills. I actually didn't know the grid was on the hill. I stumbled upon it at the end of one of the trails. I had never been on one of these hills so I figured I'd walk up it a little. I may be sterile now but it was worth it for the view.

So... Burton snowboards released a 50th anniversary Led Zep board and with the board, they included the 50th anniversary LZ book. At a quick glance....

LOVE THIS PICTURE FROM 1969.
