A few inches of snow yesterday and -15 windchill in Toronto this morning.

We had a little snow and 36 and I thought that was bad.

Please, I am in no hurry for summer, but no more late freezes. I got several plants in last weekend; Tuesday night the temps plummeted. I was prepared - my dang yard looked like a Klan rally - but I still had plant casualties. :(

Because there is a freakin' magpie in the backyard that chirps constantly, ALL DAY LONG, starting at 4 or 5 am. Grrrr!

What you need is a good old-fashioned Red Rider BB Gun!!

You'll put an eye out with that!

But yeah, I've thought about it.

Try what I have done for years. I have a portable "air cleaner" that sits in the corner that I turn on at bedtime to drown out all outdoor and most indoor noises. I could care less if it cleans the air but the consistent noise of the fan is wonderful. It has low/med/high. Medium typically works great. I am pretty sure I would have a tough time sleeping without it at this point.... :)

I have the exact same thing...I really can't sleep without it.

I have one too. Gotta have that white noise. When it's too quiet all I hear are my ears ringing.
