Butler loses for the 3rd time in O.T. and remain 0 for the Big East.

Well, at least it was Georgetown and not DePaul.

CBI for Butler?

It will still be an interesting view. I won't say any more than that.

Northwestern beats Illinois in Evanston, 49-43, in a game where the Illini hit about 20% of their layups...

The thing is, we blew so many layups that it could have been a larger margin. Not that I'm complaining I think this will be big in March and hopefully a harbinger of things to come.

Maybe next Tuesday we can go into Breslin and come out with another W.

I don't believe what I just saw!

Jack Buck ?

Yup...on the call when Gibby took Eck deep.

I slept through the whole thing...

I saw that...I hated the Dodgers but that was quite a moment.

I still hate the Dodgers.

Didn't really like either team, I found the Bash Brothers annoying and LaRussa obnoxious. So I was nominally rooting for the Dodgers.

And a perfect night of basketball continues. In OT, on a putback dunk with 0.2 remaining, Arkansas defeats Kentucky, 87-85 at Bud Walton Arena.

By far the highlight was in Btown, though, what a great great win when we were staring a 2-4 Big Ten start in the face.

Crazy play. I've never seen a last second dunk like that. A tip-in, but not a full on jam. Weak side box-out, anyone?

As much as I'd like to rip on UK's lack of alertness and fundamentals on the play, IU went to sleep in a similar situation and allowed a back door cut for an easy layup on an OOB play with 0.9 left last year vs Illinois.

Some time in the late 80s or early 90s, the Badgers won a game at the buzzer on a alley oop dunk vs Minnesota (it was prior to the Kohl Center opening.)

Not a college play, but the player may be familiar

Note the fans they show after the dunk. Seems like there might be more IU fans there than Magic fans. ;)

Lose to the worst f***ing team in the Big Ten. At home.

Or maybe IU is the worst team in the Big Ten.

F***.
