Many of us love it because of the songs but its important to consider how hard it was for them getting back after Neil's tragedies. And when I hear people complain about it having no guitar solos, I remember how Alex stated that he subsonciously felt uncomfortable putting himself out there and drawing attention to himself in a show-offy way with soloing out of respect for Neil. Remix is out now but I'm also keeping my original copy! Without Vapor Trails there would be no Clockwork Angels! Here's a video I just came across.. Notice how Alex listened to it on the beach with a Walkman and wasn't even listening for sound quality anyway! Just to the songs.. No wonder the shitty sound got by them. When I first listened to the album, I didn't hear any crappy sound to it, all I heard was beauty. It may not be their best sounding album, but the songs overall are great.
