I would choose Caress of Steel. I've seen RUSH so many times… but the only songs from Caress of Steel I've only ever seen them perform live are Bastille Day and Lakeside Park. The Necromancer is my 2nd favorite song, only behind La Villa Strangiato… It would make my year if they would even just play that one song on the next tour. I think it is most likely they would choose Hemispheres or 2112 if anything at all though, and I would surely be happy to see either of those albums performed in their entirety as well, but I would be absolutely ecstatic if they pulled Caress of Steel out of the vault.

 

BTW, has there ever been a better name of an album than Caress of Steel? I don't think so… if I had to describe RUSH to someone who's never heard them using only three words, I would simply say "Caress of Steel"!

I love that song and have never seen it live. I was just focusing on songs that I don't have great live versions of. But you're right.
