  1. Why Between the Wheels? between the wheels might be a top 10 rush song for me..lol bottom worst? just throw 10 songs from vapor trails in there. don't care for that album at all other than a couple songs.
  2. let me first say "IMHO".... Is Neil done with Rush? I don't think so. Done with big tours, I say yes. But Neil still is playing very well for his age and he enjoys making music. He's a person that always has to keep busy and do something. I think he'll eventually get the itch again to write some material and want to record with the guys again. No idea when. 1,2,3 years? I just feel that Neil is the type or person that likes to prove he still has it and if he still has the phsyical ability to play drums and write music, he will. It's possible to see maybe a 5-10 city tour or something. Like shows at some big cities. (toronto, LA, chicago, NY, etc). If it doesn't happen, I've already told myself I'm ok with it. These guys (mainly Neil) has more than earned the right to call it quits whenever they want to. But I really don't think we've seen the last of Neil musically.
  3. Today is my birthday and had to post this. My wife drew this for me and gave it to me for my birthday present. So awesome! http://i.imgur.com/tWyI8Gw.jpg
  4. back to the future II of course. I even timed it so i was watching it at the exact same day/time doc, marty and jennifer arrived in 2015 :)
  5. geddy sounded much better than I thought he would. I enjoyed his vocals better this tour than CAs.
  6. if there is any rush song that is overplayed its TS, however they pretty much have to play it every tour. There are some folks who just got into rush and its their first time seeing them that tour and would be unfair to them to hear arguably the most famous Rush song there is.
  7. i was at the show last night and figured he did this each show. was that not the case? I was also hoping that the mustache would get bigger and bigger and end up with the big handlebar mustache when they were playing some Hemispheres :)
  8. Subdivisions would always be on my dream setlist. Maybe my favorite song ever by them.
  9. Switch lakeside park with the necromancer Switch DEW with Kid Gloves Ditch any VTs song with a song from T4E Switch Tom Sawyer with Witch Hunt or Vital Signs
  10. Setlist C for Chicago. freaking amazing. first Rush show I went to without ever seeing the setlist at all. that second set was too much for my Rush boner. :) NS, JL, both Cygnus, xanadu....#hnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng
  11. just grabbed a floor seat (section 5) this evening on ticketmaster. 200 bucks. they still exist. even right now. I see 2 floor seats in section 4
  12. just landed a ticket through ticketmaster. floor 5. row 4! 200 bucks. still some floor seats available. just gotta check out the map and let it keep refreshing until you see one that is open.
  13. i'm looking for a ticket to chicago myself. Best bet maybe to wait till the day of the show or before.
  14. least favorite is vapor trails. I'd be fine if i never heard a song from that album ever again. Only songs that I think are decent are Earthshine and Vapor Trail
  15. You Bet Your Life Stay! Go! Work! No! Learn! Live! Earn! Give!
  16. Andy Wood died 25 years ago today. For those who arent familiar he was the lead singer of the grunge band "mother love bone". Jeff Ament and Stone Gossard were in that band who then went on to create Pearl Jam. Temple of the Dog (half pearl jam and half soundgarden) formed and did 1 album as a tribute to Andy. Also, the song "far behind" by candelbox was written about andy too. His life was a major contributor to the formation of grunge.
  17. Vapor Trails In all seriousness, probably Permanent Waves
