Happy anniversary, then...I wonder, what does one do to celebrate a TRF anniversary?

When I first joined the forum, I thought the anniversaries thing was for wedding anniversaries, which I thought was a peculiar thing to have posted on a Rush forum, but anyway...

Happy happies to you!

Please, stop drawing attention to that! I have been able to stay under the radar so far but the language police are all over the place.

Are there actual language police? I know we've lost tens of millions from the education sector for the language cops but I've yet to be reprimanded for speaking English at work.

First article: IMO Bill 101 was what made us a joke. The discrimination police are just part of the Jester's act.

Second article/video:  that's amazing, exactly how I picture the language cops, except I see them as being bitter old men/separatists. Thank you for this. At the same time, I feel shame that this is likely accurate. Replace Quebec's politics with the norm in the rest of Canada and it becomes such a beautiful and amazing place with a hugely multicultural people.

Anyway, thanks for sharing. Let's keep this celebration away from SOCN. :)

Yes, it's true in Ontario too. It's a Canadian thing, eh. Gotta keep the pea soup eaters happy. ;)
