liquidcrystalcompass
Sullysue has great taste. I love Rush more than any other band but the best musician that I've ever seen is Stevie Ray Vaughn. Unbelievable.
iluvgeddy05
ties between: U2 Placebo Keane (a new like and they only have one album right now so this could very well be a "of the moment" band)
Freedom_Fighter
well to me Creed and Dream Theater are both tied with Rush, it's hard to pick a very fav out of those three. so if i had to pick one after rush, i'd hafta pick one after all three of those, and that would probably hafta be Collective Soul. sfuentes
For me, the second best is Pink Floyd, with Supertramp following.

rickyrob
For me, at the moment anyway, Nightwish. They Rock! I don't know about any other countries, but here in the UK, they are always under the Heavy Metal section in music shops....I hardly ever look in this section, so it is odd that I have to go over to these to look at NW CDs they have. And then I pick up Oceanborn, and think "If this is Heavy Metal, I'm a Chinaman"
Mandalorian Hunter
Ricky, AC/DC is classed as Heavy Metal so you can't really take the pigeonholing in shops seriously I have two favs after Rush. The first are The Who, simply because they rock, nothing else to say. The second, are The Mars Volta.
Grandpa Grizz
Working band: LIVE Retired band: PINK FLOYD
rickyrob
QUOTE (Mandalorian Hunter @ Jul 1 2005, 01:38 PM) Ricky, AC/DC is classed as Heavy Metal so you can't really take the pigeonholing in shops seriously I have two favs after Rush. The first are The Who, simply because they rock, nothing else to say. The second, are The Mars Volta. But I would have said AC/DC were anyway. Unless they have changed a lot over the years... I used to have the live album 'If you Want Blood...' when it first came out. To me this is metal, but I wouldn't say that any track on Oceanborn by Nightwish can be classed as Heavy metal, with perhaps only one exception at a stretch: "The Pharoah Sails to Orion"
