Oct 1st was the 43rd anniversary of Abbey Road's release in the US. These things are starting to resonate with me. Last week it was this and the announcement that Cabrera was the first triple crown winner in 45 years. I was born about 6 weeks after the last one was crowned. Oh well, happy birthday to the start of some of the greatest music ever recorded.

Silas Lang
Thank goodness it happened when it did. The original burst of the '50s rock n rollers had by then pretty much dissipated. The entire British rock revolution of the '60s may never have existed in quite the same way without the Beatles.
