I was born in 1996, so Test for Echo was mine (I was 2 months old when T4E came out!). Birth song would have to be Driven.

Er... I was born in 1979, which album do I go for? Hemi? Or PeW?

I can check which months those albums were issued in - that might help! I figured, though, if someone's birthday was caught between two albums, to go for which one you prefer! tongue.gif

Hmm, apparently Permanent Waves was released Jan. 01, 1980, and Hemispheres was Oct. 28, 1978. Hope that helps! smile.gif

Yes! Thank you!

I was born in December 1979 so I went with Permanent Waves. I love all the songs on that album but I've decided on The Spirit Of Radio. You should have seen my face when I heard that massive time change! Definately helped me become a fan!

Well, you could still pick Rush as the album closest to your birthday!

Or, pick a song from Sgt. Pepper's! That's pretty cool, being born on the day it was released!

Grace Under Pressure was released April 12, 1984; I was born 14 days later. If I had to

choose a song that would be considered my birth song, I guess it would have to be Between

the Wheels.

It would be interesting to know how many of your parents were into Rush, or if any of you had parents who hated Rush and are annoyed now that you like them laugh.gif

Well, I'm almost fifty and didn't vote in the poll, but my parent's hated Rush with a passion and would never let me play it loud when they were home. It's a cross-generalizational-parental-hatred that makes all Rush fans want to 1022.gif

Roll the Bones was released less than 2 months after my birthday. Maybe that's why I actually like the album, unlike most people here tongue.gif

I would choose The Big Wheel as my birthday song. Such a fun song to sing, and I love to like what others dislike laugh.gif

Also, this,

Geddy Lee featuring Zakk Wylde "Spirit Journey Formation Anniversary "

great show.

I was born in 1995, so Test For Echo is my birthday album. I'll go with Half The World. It sure is hard to pick a favorite song from that album.

My parents think I'm weird for liking Rush, but they don't hate the band.

Yeah- that is the great thing about Rush- even if you were born during the time they were big, there is still a pretty good chance your parents (or at least your mom) hated them! laugh.gif Not like Van Halen or ACDC, you can still piss them off with Rush.

My Dad listened to Rush back in the day. He got into them with A Farewell to Kings, and got them up to Signals, where he drifted off.

I occasionally put some of the DVD's on for him, and he has a great time.

He also likes the new album...so there you go.
