losingit2k
One things I found intriguing about reading the downloaded Sample of Clockwork Angels the book was all the references at RUSH songs. Which made be wonder if this was by design and if these songs would make it into the CA setlist on the upcoming tour? So far they've mentioned: Caravan Cold Fire Jacobs Ladder BU2B Time Stand Still Countdown Clockwork Angels All songs I would love to hear live: Any thoughts concerning this delusion? MMCXII
I would expect them to throw a few song titles into the book. ..I would also expect overthinking Rush fans to make too much of it

So far they've mentioned: Caravan Cold Fire Jacobs Ladder BU2B Time Stand Still Countdown Clockwork Angels All songs I would love to hear live: Any thoughts concerning this delusion? Case in point. In another thread you called someone ignorant for posting a question that he had regarding a solo trip to a show. Here you are asking us if we think that Rush tunes mentioned in a Rush book are some kind of illuminati code for the upcoming setlist. I really don't understand the reasoning. Nice thought but by that standard the set would be 16 hours long because there are far more Rush references than that. Just wait to read the full book. Slack jaw gaze
The author has been well know to pepper Rush references in his other books as well. Not to mention the book was written well before any set list decisions.

JohnnyBlaze
Playing any of the songs mentioned wouldn't be out of the realm of possible. However, it'd be mere coincidence (albeit a big one) if it did happen. Geddy & Lifeson had nothing to do with the creation of the book but (obviously) have a huge say in what's on the setlist. I missed that one. Regardless, Yeah, why wouldn't they play "The Star look Down"? If they played Faithless on the last tour, I wouldn't pass anything by them at this point. Well maybe TFOL. I don't think that will ever see the light of day! Edited August 11, 2012 by losingit2k

mmm_donuts
I really don't need to hear Time Stand Still again. Nice 'ok' song but I'm over it. Countdown is total cheesy fluff, so I'd be really disappointed if they played that.
