danielmclark Posted April 20, 2012 Share Posted April 20, 2012 A lot of artist have 4, 5 or even more, singles per album. But I've never seen a band put out this many before the album is released. I hope they don't put a fourth one out before June. Having 25% of the album already is enough. Actually, that's not true. I just remembered two years ago, The Cure put out four singles and four non-album B-sides before their 4:13 Dream album came out. But I still don't want a fourth from Rush. I like the idea of having NINE new Rush songs to listen to come June 12. The day still seems far away, but I think I'll feel it was worth it come that day! Like everyone has said, we've already had three singles since the release, and that's way more than usual before the release of an album. Like someone said, four or five are usually released, but not until after the album is released. Look at Snakes & Arrows: Snakes & Arrows came out May 1, 2007 First single: Far Cry - Released March 12, 2007 - two months before the release Second single: Spindrift - Released June 1, 2007 - one month AFTER release Third single: The Larger Bowl - June 25, 2007 - almost two months after release Fourth single: Workin' Them Angels - 2008 - a year after the release We've already had three for Clockwork Angels.
