I quite liked this one. People turn their heads to Shyamalan movies these days, but I thought this one was good.

I didn't know it was a Shyamalan one til I saw the credits and I liked The Sixth Sense, The Others and The Village so I'll watch it.

After Earth is the worst big budgeted studio movie I've EVER seen. If anyone wants to torture me Clockwork Orange style, put that POS on. Shame on Will Smith and the nepotism that ruined that movie more than it already was.

Don't worry will smith will be back for the next 2 Independence Day sequels

And "Devil" was good I loved the ending nice Rod Serling twist after that one with Paul Giamatti with the pool and the one where the people disappeared I was giving up on M. Night but this was back to his roots his twist ending and if you pay attention to certain things you can figure it out......that line scared me so much "damn.....I wanted you so bad" evil

I kinda figured out "The Village" sorta......I noticed the dates on the gravestones and the story's they had "my sister was killed behind a apt complex" lines so I knew it was goin on in the present, but the creatures threw.....well until later on,but damn I saw that in the theater and people were screaming and jumping when they saw them come through the village at nite haha

We got stuck 5 rows from the front so we were jumping out of our seats from time to time lol pretty fast action stuff but definately not as up front nauseating as 3-D Avatar was when we got stuck 3 rows from the front. I wanted to throw up the entire movoe cause the chase scenes through the forests were too fast to be that close! Captain America all around was a cool story line an we dug it!

From the poster it looks like a survivalist movie about a father and his daughter. Instead is a survivalist movie about a group of old University nerds who hide in the woods and rekindle old loves while a computer virus turns the US into a mess.

The movie is BAD, but the only interesting angle, for me, was the critique about how educated, high-level people can be petty and selfish in dire situations just like any average joe. A slap in the face of the high-and-mighty class of intellectuals.

I'm very passionate about organic food and avoiding anything Monsanto tainted so I had to see it soon enough. I have a cousin who I haven't seen in a while that I reconnected with on Facebook and her eating habits have changed since watching it. She's just as anti GMO as I am.
