  1. f**k the Grammys as for Neil I’m sure he wouldn’t want any picture or mention which is fine by me.
  2. I found that “Limbo” really drags on me and “The way The Wind Blows” “Secret Touch” which is odd cause I really dig Vapor Trails
  3. Sweet the Eternals I love that and I want to see a Morbius The Living Vampire movie or at least pop up somewhere
  4. Dark Crystal Age of Resistance F Is For Family Altered Carbon
  5. I don’t wanna see them with another drummer it’s just not right.I am sad Rush is gone but it’s true and now def with Neil gone
  6. People recording everything nowadays is getting out of control and as for doing it during a funeral is disgusting!!! Hell I was on the C train a subway path in manhattan NYC and a guy jumped in front of it and what do all most young people do? Record or try to get pics from under the train it makes me sick this whole record everything shit
  7. I haven’t been to this site in over 6 years and saw this yesterday and just couldn’t believe it.This really sucks and now he’s gone
  8. Ahhh mine was on the R30 tour when they played at Jones beach. All day it was pretty crappy out raining but I had hope it will clear up....boy was I wrong!.As I borrowed a friends car and drove from Manhattan down to through Brooklyn it was like a friggin monsoon with severe T-Storms but I turned on the radio to K-Rock and said "...and for all you Rush fans the concert is actually goin on!" So as I got there and almost missing the entire set got to myself and thinkng "this sucks" but seeing the Rush fans goin nuts even with high winds and quite chilly for late June or early July (I forget) made me get into the mood but out of no where it all stopped when they played "Earthshine" and it was perfect weather from there on.Also a lot of us noticed that the storm was at its peak when they played "Force Ten" coincidence? Or were the Rush gods smiling down on us?.Sadly as I left the killer concert flying back to Manhattan with a few fans who needed a ride back to Manhattan I got pulled over and as I was about to get a ticket one of the fans had family in the NYPD and showed him his Family ID and member cards and the ticket was gone! Again I guess the Rush gods hooked me up with a NYPD family member in the car. Actually this happened to me yrs earlier when I was seeing Pink Floyd on the "Momentarly Lapse of Reason" tour they played at Meadowlands NJ and it was raining and even though it was June it felt like Late March with temperatures in the high 50s and soaking wet.
  9. If this is the end than so be it I will not be bitter cause those 3 cats made beautiful music and I respect their wishes and hope a long life for all of the guys and their family.Rush saved me with "music Therapy" when I had drug problems yrs ago their music will always resonate within me and m sure with all you.Im just a speck of there millions of fans worldwide part of a brotherhood and proud of it.This band, these men gave us a gift of music and opened new doors to us like as me as a teen after hearing 2112 and seeing Ayn Rands name as inspiration and I went out and bought Anthem,Fountainhead,Atlas Shrugged, etc and was blown away by the idealism, collectivism in her books and how Neil and his amazing writing skills brought that in to his and made masterpieces over and over again. But not to put Geddy and Alex down they wrote such beautiful music along with Neil's lyrics and together it was a match made in heaven..and that is where my love for Rush is.So if they call it a day I'm fine and I thank them for over 40yrs of beautiful music,Touring,Humanitarian,Culturally,he'll they changed Music in so many way but done so sly and influenced countless musicians some who have made it big time and some who are starting out and one day we might see on a stage in front of thousands of fans. And the fact to influence is a powerful gift so Geddy,Alex & Neil thank you for everything you have done,All of us from the rockstar playing shows to the teenage kid strumming his first chords to "limelight" you have touched all of us......and I thank you "You make us smile in the end"
  10. Def not there last tour I can see them going the Rolling Stones Route maybe ever 3-4 yrs a album and back to the hour and half shows with my guess a opening act? Wow that sounds crazy saying that they havnt had a opening act since the "Counterparts Tour" 93-94 and that had great opening acts I got to see "The Melvins",Primus","I Mother Earth" & "Candlebox" which I really didn't are for but I have been huge fans of The Melvins,Primus for yrs at that time and I Mother Earth IMO was a great ban and full of potential. So there will be smaller tours which is cool but will the do anymore albums? One wonders...I'll say yes but only if they want to and not contractually attached to do them cause then they will be rushed and sound dragged kinda like "Snakes And Arrows" my least fav Rush album but with CA came out I was blown away "so the boys still go the skillz to pay the bills"
  11. I'll go with Toronto or NYC they had a amazing opportunity to film the 2 sold out nites at Radio City and MSG would be a missed time too.i noticed that theNortheast Rush fans are the most rabid (other countries different story) New Haven,Boston,NYC,Newerk,Philly they gotta film some of these shows!.Of course there is Detriot,Columbus,Chicago,Montreal too I've seen Rush in almost every city and a lot abroad but I noticed the southern markets the fans seem like there standing there waiting for a bus,now that's IMO and I'm not knocking my southern brothers except Florida I always run into asshole cops there and I got respect for police but Florida cops have no respect.I have family in law enforcement and even they say Florida police are just too aggressive especially when they see out of state plates on cas jeez! They even almost arrested 2 of my black friends one time when we drove down there and using such racist terms on them it was just downright racist and sad. I'm getting off topic sorry ill say Toronto,NYC,Chicago,Detroit,Montreal,Boston those are my guesses
  12. My fav and my father who was a Korean War vet saw this part was clapping and laffing cause that what they should have done! Also I love when sam rips the chair out and throws it I was in the theater seein that and laughed so hard lol Professor Terguson: You remember that thing we had about 30 years ago called the Korean conflict? And how we failed to achieve victory? How come we didn't cross the 38th parallel and push those rice-eaters back to the Great Wall of China? Professor Terguson: [rips a desk apart] Then take the f***ing wall apart [shouts] Professor Terguson: brick by brick and nuke them back into the f***ing stone age forever? Tell me why! How come? Say it! Say it! Thornton Melon: [incensed] All right. I'll say it. 'Cause Truman was too much of a *pussy wimp* to let MacArthur go in there [shouts] Thornton Melon: and blow out those Commie bastards! Professor Terguson: Good answer. Good answer. I like the way you think. I'm gonna be watching you.
  13. No "Feedback" don't get me wrong it was really cool hearing some covers but not on this tour
  14. I flew in from Wisconsin for the first show at Radio City (August 18th, 2004). Front Row, First Balcony........BEST SHOW EVER......... :haz: :haz: Paris Hilton....Paris Hilton....WHERE'S YOUR PRIDE?!
