Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2.

Not even joking: MOVIE OF THE YEAR!

I thought the first one was an animated marvel...the second made me weep tears of joy!

This Is Spinal Tap.

My favorite comedy of all time.

Lost in Translation.

Great set of characters and tone. And perfect rendering of some of the little things like that stupid Japanese talk show, J-folk in cowboy hats, and elevators brimming with similar-suited, middle-aged business men

I thought it surpassed the first, which is always tough to do. My two little boys loved it, so that's what matters

Im obsessed with the first one...and yes...the second one was more fun than the first!

Sad thing is...I have no young ones to hide behind. I went with my to friends and it kinda looked lame!

^^^ LiT is a brilliant piece of comedy-drama JB, loved it on my last flight as well! :hail:

Yeah, LiT is brilliant in so many different ways. Hard to even begin.

Texas Chainsaw was one of the few [non-demonic] horror films that scared me when I was younger. Should watch that again

How come all missions to Mars end in horrible ways? It's almost a curse! This one has Liev Schrieber (he's all over the place today, isn't he?) but it's terribly dull. I could anticipate all twists, ending included.

The Rovers are cool, though!

Absolute classics! :ebert: :notworthy: :notworthy: :ebert:

Yeah out of these four I think enjoyed Carry on Matron the most and Henry the least, too much Sid James chasing after Babs Windsor in that one...

Sid was quite the lecherous type, wasn't he? It showed whenever he and Miss Bouncy appeared in their scenes. Sometimes, I don't think he was acting - he looked like he was being himself. I could be wrong.

Well they had an affair for ten years so they didn't do so much acting...

Two great movies! LiT is very well done...accomplishes a great deal with very little dialogue.

More anti-NASA propaganda!

Yeah I can go on about LiT for hours. I was feeling like Bill Murray's character while I was standing on the (as always) crowded train today: on my left was a pair of purple-haired old women talking on and on about some pork dumplings they ate [typical scene and conversation], on my right was some older salaryman looking at some manga porn [another VERY typical scene], and behind me I could hear a couple of junior high school girls talking about their favorite pop idol group [yet another typical scene]. In front of me was the train door with my reflection in the glass window seemingly saying, "f**k. It's still alienating out here even when you DO understand much of the language. And man, this salaryman that's looking at manga porn sure does reek of cigarettes and b.o."

LiT is a fantastic film. If you enjoy Bill Murray you must see "Hyde Park on the Hudson". He plays FDR. The movie contains his finest moment.
