The Owl
Of all the September releases, I'd actually go with Special Edition of Steven Wilson's new solo album.. "Grace for Drowning"

fledgehog
wait and listen to both, and then make your decision based on which album you lake better. personally, i'd go with neither though, because vinyl is pointless.
ColdFireYYZ
I'd go with whichever band you like the best. So in my case, I'd go with Dream Theater.

HemispheresserehpsimeH
I'd go with Dream Theater out of those two. The fact that their new album is coming, Opeth's is coming a week later, and then Steven Wilson's is coming out a week after Opeth's, is mindblowing. Not to mention Mastodon's on the same day as SW's. September's going to be interesting.
Soni
Went with Opeth. Why? I simply like the artwork better. =D

J2112YYZ
I'd go with Dream Theater since they're the band I like here. But since the new album isn't out yet it's kind of hard to recomend it since I haven't heard it and don't know how good it is.
Maverick
I don't like Dream Theater, and I love Opeth. Kind of a no-brainer for me.
