Back to the Future parts 2 or 3?

I didn't like the first one, but I know it was popular. Just wonder how the sequels hold up to it.

What can you possible not like about Back to the Future? I think it's as perfect as a movie can be - great screenplay, great casting, great directing. The perfect movie going experience, in my opinion.

The sequels are a few steps down. They are worthwhile because they manage to maintain the spirit and diversion of Back to the Future.

Wow. You don't like Back to the Future. Wow.

Michael J. Fox never impressed me.

Wow. I guess you didn't like Family Ties, either.

I agree. I should have used the sarcastic smilie. But, Michael J. Fox is perfect in Back to the Future, the perfect popcorn movie!

Of all the sequels I've seen, The Godfather III stands out as the worst.

All the mystique and passion of the first two films was gone. It was pretentious, insincere, convoluted, and overly-dramatic in some scenes. Sofia Coppola was horrible as Mary, and the climactic scene at the opera house was forced and extremely pretentious.

BIG disappointment. new_thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif

2nd Place: 2010: Odyssey Two

I thought 2010 was a decent film!

Anyone who says GF III clearly hasn't seen any other movie on this list. biggrin.gif Maybe relative to one and two it's disappointing. As a stand alone film, it only OBLITERATES most of these put together...in so far as being a good film goes. Yeah, Godfather III is WORSE than Caddyshack 2 and Batman & Robin and Jaws The Revenge. rofl3.gif

Please.

Batman and Robin is Citizen Kane compared to Caddyshack 2.

Caddyshack 2 may be one of the worst movies ever made.

At first, I was wondering why there was even a question mark at the end of the topic title, and why the thread wasn't just named Caddyshack 2.

Has anyone ever made it all the way through this miserable movie?

I loved the trilogy. The first one was the best, but I really liked the third one as well.

There should be a thread poll about which Biff character is the best. My favorite was Buford "Mad Dog" Tannen.

I didn't.

I had little faith it was going to get any better.

Notice you don't see it on the movie channels anywhere.
