I think given their recent spike in popularity and the fact that they probably be touring in the year 2012 we might get to hear 2112 in its entirety. Geddy sounded great singing it on the last tour I they look like they enjoy playing it so I think theres a possibility. Edited by jesse2112

I agree with 2112 in 2012. And if they dont do it in its entirety, at least play more than just Temples. Play Presentation, Oracle, and Grand Finale as well like they did on ATWAS.

They definitely should play more than just Overture/Temples. Skeptics might argue that Geddy's voice aint what it was, but given how great he sounded on the last tour singing Temples, TCE, Freewill, WM I think he could do a fine job.

How much I enjoy the new album will likely determine how I feel about the new setlist.

I imagine that they'll play upwards of 5 or 6 songs from the new album, and if I love the material, I'll love the set. If I'm not crazy about the material, well.... it'll mean there are likely 5 or 6 songs of older material that I'd have rather heard.

i'd love to see a few go away, as they are well documented in the recent live cd/dvd's...

subdivisions

far cry

working man

workin' them angels

i love those songs. i'd rather hear something different...

now, songs like tom sawyer and freewill are never gonna go away, but i've heard them EVERY time i've seen them since 1984.

i'd love some more gems as they did from snakes and arrows tour: digital man, entre nous, circumstnaces...what nice suprises those were.

this time around (time machine) songs like marathon and time stand still were nice suprises, but IMO there was not enough of songs like them in the set.

realistic songs for consideration (songs they've played live, for the most part)...i mean- hoping for a farwell to kings or other older stuff is a pipe dream. don't get me worng; if they played it, i'd be traveling to more than a few shows laugh.gif

but how about picking a few of these ones... boys??

manhattan project

kid gloves

analog kid

freeze

jacob's ladder

finding my way or in the mood would be nice...fun songs live

double agent

cold fire

test for echo

the weapon

body electric

the enemy within

not a list, but songs i hope get some consideration next time around.

The two songs I hope get played (and are realistic) are Xanadu and The Enemy Within. I've only seen the past two tours, and have yet to experience the mammoth Xanadu live; one of my top songs (and used to be my ringtone for a few years).

I don't care about most of the songs, as long as they play HALF THE WORLD and THE PASS. Show Don't Tell would be nice, and I think I would faint if they played Different Strings. wub.gif

You never know! They seem to be eliminating all "this song can't go here" notions as time goes on!
