A bit paranoid of an idea, I know, but is it possible that this is a scam? Seems like a bad location for one, so my better judgement is going agaisnt this thought.. To be safe, I didn't give the last 4 digits of my social security, but all contact information (as well as age name and living place of course). I got a receipt, it has election contact information, and a bolded section on the bottom left which reads "Questions, Problems, or to report fraud: (call, email, website)" The website is www.sos.ca.gov very reliable.. Gah, yes I'm very paranoid... I just need someone to convince me that this isn't a scam as I'm sure it isn't but afraid it is... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

They're going to ask for proof of ID again through elections@sos.ca.gov I could also use my driver's license digits as proof - but oh wait..
