I don't know.
But one thing is for certain, that great pile of Doggy-Doos that is Duff Leper haven't written anything worth listening to like EVER.

Pig Thick ignorant deedahs the lot of them even if they aren't all deedahs.

I suppose Duh Sabs Symptom of the Universe has a good riff smile.gif

The only Def Lep riff that stands out in my head as being any good is "Wasted." Lame song, but a decent riff.

My Dad once helped Joe Elliott sing the chorus of Wasted back in '79 (At Chesterfield's Fusion Nightclub). He said they were shite.

if only def leppard could have taken their music career as far as your dad has.. just think! lol

I'm currently in love with Def leppard's High and dry album. Wicked riffs all over this thing!

..but the coolest has got to be my favorite tune on the album. NO NO NO!!!  1022.gif

Which song, (from any band!) do you think has the coolest riff ever?

I couldn't agree more! I've written about "High 'N Dry" on here before!

Absolutely a gem and Leppard's apex album.

"Princess Of The Dawn" ACCEPT

"Fast As A Shark" ACCEPT

Fukk it! The entire "Restless And Wild" album!

"Life In London" PAT TRAVERS

"Friday Night" VANDENBERG

Every song by Van Halen up to "1984."

"MEAN STREET" TAKES THE RIFFICIOUS CAKE! 1287.gif

gonna check some of these out! trink39.gif

They didn't call Steve Clark "The Riffmaster" for nothing.

Still miss him...great player, great album!

Good guitarist (RIP) in a real good band.

Glad to see I am not the only one digging up old threads tonight.

Their live Mirror Ball album is on Spotify (nothing else of theirs is) - Joe Elliot's voice has held up surprisingly well over the years. He's not nearly as high pitched as he used to be (not unlike a certain Canadian we know) but he sings much better than I expected him to after all this time.

Unfortunately, the rest of the band is inexcusably sloppy.

Donnie Iris and Cruisers - "Love is Like a Rock" <-This is the only riff I ever learned to play on a guitar. It is the king of riffs!

Here's the proof

"HEY! Love can rock you

Never stop you...

AHHH AHHH AHHH,

Love is Like a ROCK!!"

And then there's the opening riff to "Ah! Leah!" which just too good to be contended with.

Which maybe the greatest music video ever!

God, I love Donnie Iris! 653.gif

My ringtone is the opening riff from Limelight.

But there are other very good ones. I love the opening one from Thunderstruck by AC/DC. And the one in the middle of The Final Countdown by Europe. And of course, the fast one in the middle of I Want It All by Queen.
