This is true.. Lets see...A hint without giving it away... The R's are an Octave apart. R = E

Scars
Do the numbers correspond to the notes in the scale? If R=E, I'm guessing that R stands for root and that you're saying E is the root note of the scale. So R457 34R , R457 34R = E,A,B,D# G#,A,E E,A,B,D# G#,A,E I'm just guessing at this point, I don't have any instrument in front of me to test my theory at all. red sector animal
QUOTE (SlyJeff @ Dec 17 2010, 02:11 AM) Xanadu In one fell swoop, Slyjeff nails it! Scars...you got it too, just without the rush relate. Had you had an instrument to test it out, I bet you would have heard it immediately. Good job to both! It's the interval sequence of the notes used for the guitar intro riff.. R 457 34R rinse and repeat.

Xanadu93
The way it looks, I have more of a social life than OP, which is pretty sad.
SlyJeff
Nah- it's not a social life issue- it's the result of being an ex-music theory/comp major and naturally thinking about music in intervals and chord progressions. The hint was a dead giveaway, unfortunately.
