The only way a new Rush album gets made is if Geddy and Alex write all music and lyrics. Neil will come into the studio and lay down the drum tracks. Then again maybe not. Mike Portnoy will come in and do it. The new Rush record will be called "Images And Nerds" Personally I hope Rush retires. Go out on top with R40. NAHHHHHHH I'll sit in for neil if he decides to retire............

Definitely the fact that is playing hard and maintaining 16th notes. If you are not in shape, you will run out of gas about half way through, your forearm muscle will start to give out along with the accenting on the hihat. I know plenty of drummers who can "go through the motins" meaning they can play it, but mostly with their wrists. In order to get "the sound", you have to get you whole body into it.

I agree but I have no problem with the CA audio.

I have a fairly high end system and the audio was fine and balanced. Im just wondering if playing it in stereo is hindering it. Or if there is a setting mismatch between player and reciever for some.

Watching now....about half way through and the audio for me is balanced, I can hear everything just fine. I guess it depends on your setup. One thing i will say, the playing is OUTSTANDING and Clockwork Angels (song) in my opinion sound like it was ment(engineered) to be played live.....WOW

Im taking the vinyl through cakewalk and messing around with it to see what i come up with...

Got my remastered copy yesterday and it IS definitely is better.....much better. I have a pretty high end setup and the clarity is much better. I did notice Neil's bell rides are a little washed out but audible. I've always thought the album was great, but this really makes it a better. Now it is meant to be played LOUD instead of being loud.

IDK... It might be,in part because the fact that we all know how private he is, that maybe this is him letting us in on his terms as well? At a distance.

I met him at a drum clinic along with Jim Chapin years ago (who has also since passed away) Jim was in his mid to late 70's and I think so was Ed. And even at that age they made us look like we were going in slow motion.

Why Sorry? Them getting in doesn't change the fact the hall is garbage I kind of agree here....but since they are in now,all i can say is that Rush adds a touch of class to the RRHOF that it BARLEY deserves but was BADLY needed.

I had this years ago along with Rush live at nassau,have no idea what happened to them.
