Mystic Slipperman
"Hate" is too strong a word.... but I'll tell you the 3 I like the least: 1) The Speed of Love 2) Virtuality 3) Alien Shore Since it sometimes takes me about 10 years to "come around" to certain songs, the ones I like least from VT onward are withheld until that time elapses! GeminiRising79
I heard Tai Shan for the first time last week and was completely dumbstruck. It was a myriad feeling between "Is this real life?". and "is this Rush I am listening to?". Did Neil hold Alex and Geddy at gunpoint when producing this monstrosity? jnoble
Hmmmm... 1. Speed Of Love 2. Working Them Angels/Faithless/Armor and Sword/Good News First 3. Out Of The Cradle Blast me if you want about #2, but they all pretty much sound like the same plodding boring song to me
Gilbertk
DOG YEARS Ever see the episode of Seinfeld where Jerry wakes up in the middle of the night and scribbles something he thinks is really funny on a piece of paper, then he can't read his handwriting in the morning, then when he finds out what it was and it wasn't really all that funny? *Breathe* Dog Years is the equivalent of Jerry actually using that "joke". I cringe when i listen to it.

Musically and arrangment-wise, Tai Shan isn't BAD per se...it's just not a song that a formally rockin' band like Rush should have recorded. Then again, HYF is mostly soft-lite FM rock anyway. That was just my personal opinion, but the music in vapor trails just seems to stale, with the exception of a few songs. I do like most of the lyrics on the album though. Test for Echo is the opposite, The music rocks, but the lyrics are just 'meh' Roll the Bones just flat out stinks (Well the first two songs are great and so is Ghost of a Chance)

Bastille Dave
I dont hate any Rush songs but I really dont like "Rivendell" even though it's on an album I love. As stated earlier, I also dont like alot of Neil's lyrics whining about religion (Faithless, BU2B, etc...).
