I saw Moving Pictures tour and every other to follow, but Moving Pictures would be the one tour above all other for me.

Vapor Trails Tour during their run in Brazil. I still get goose bumps when I listen to YYZ on RiR.

The Test For Echo Tour was great....2112 in it's entirety.

This was the first time Rush toured without an opening act.

Natural Science made a triumphant return after a fifteen year rest.

I saw this tour three times and both legs. There were several changes in the set lists which made for a great all around tour.

Gotta be the tour for my favorite album - Signals.

When I got the album, I was 'too young to go to a rock-concert' according to my folks, so they wouldn't let me go. smile.gif

It was freakin' great!

I first saw them in 1990 on the Presto tour. I'd like to revisit that tour.

I really Diff Stages......I would love to see the 78 tour (Disc 3). But I am such a huge fan of PRESTO, I think reliving that concert in May 90 in Washington DC at the Capital Center would be worth it.

My choice.

I chose the Test For Echo Tour.....but....

You just refreshed my memory on how awesome the Hemispheres Tour was.

I saw it. I want a time machine. I want to go back. I want to be 15 yrs. old again.

I want to hear Hemispheres, By-Tor and the Snowdog, A Farewell To Kings, 2112, Cygnus X-1, Anthem and Xanadu live....All in one show.

So : tell your favorite RUSH year of touring; that you would DIG THE MOST to see no matter if you saw it previously or not. You'd have to go by their documented setlists and not change it, cuz that changes the point of the query. 2.gif

I love your creativity. I'm actually still working on my Rock N Roll Time Machine in my garage.

The answer is simple.

"HEMISPHERES" TOUR!!!!!!!!

Nothing touches that record. 1022.gif

It's between Grace Under Pressure and Permanent Waves! wub.gif

Thank goodness I saw the "Grace Under Pressure" Tour.

I was only 16, but a buddy of mine and I took BART in to South San Francisco and went to the Cow Palace.

I have no idea why my parents let me go, but I remember that show like it was yesterday.

I bet most people who see Rush for the very first time in their lives remember it like that.

I would skip forward 10 years and watch them play for 6 hours (2 x 3 Hours Set, I'm not evil) on my own tropical island. I chose the setlist and it includes Losing It, both Cygnus', all 2112 need I go on?

OR I would go back to 1965 and hook with the guys, help them out and become a vital member of Team Rush - I get to see every Tour, for free and, as a by-product, become the most popular person on this Forum.

If you have a time machine, use it properly

or to quote Stewie Griffin "Oh oh oh, your Time Machine is better than mine is it? mmm?"

Either of these would be incredible for sure, but I'd have to pick the Permanent Waves. That's just a monstrous setlist.
