snowdog2112 Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 I sure hope they continue to film their tours, this is stuff we're (or at least I'm) gonna want to relive over and over. Especially down the road when they stop touring. Wow, in the next year and a half or so we'll have a full Rush documentary, a 2112/Moving Pictures Classic Albums dvd, a couple new songs soon, a shorter tour this year with The Camera Eye and Jacob's Ladder at the minimum, and a longer tour next year supporting a full new album. I hope people can enjoy all this and focus on the positives for a while. There is so much great stuff to be excited about I hope people don't bitch too much when the inevitable song or songs is/are played that some of you don't like. This is just pure awesome fun as far as I'm concerned.

Digital Snowdog Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 so the questions can now stop about which one.....ie TCE or JL. I am pumped....it makes me feel like they have actually listened to us. Now if they would only add Xanadu it will really be a show!!!
Don Quixote Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 What concerns me in the interview is this phrase: "we're rearranging it slightly" Now that worked well for Digital Man a couple of years ago but those two tunes have some great stuff in them that I'm not sure should be f-d with.
Supersyl Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 I am now referring to this tour as the "Exit...Stage Left" tour!!!!!!!!
Alex Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 QUOTE (metaldad @ Apr 21 2010, 03:22 PM) QUOTE (Funky Chicken @ Apr 21 2010, 03:09 PM) From Al's lips- "Jacob's Ladder". Let the bitching start. "Out of all their old songs they pick that" I would rather have Xanadu. BUT LETS HEAR BOTH I SAY. JACOB'S AND XANADU.

Merely Space Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 Cool interview. But I think Al is f***ing with us. No way they're doing TCE and JL.

This has the potential to be one of their most memorable tours, should be freaking awesome!!! I KNEW they'd play Jacob's Ladder, YES! Edited April 21, 2010 by KevinDallas
EmotionDetector Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 QUOTE (quickfree @ Apr 21 2010, 05:31 PM) Hope they bring back La Villa too. Yes please!
Phantom Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 I'm stunned. I'd hoped for it, but didn't care think that it might actually happen. It's one of my all-time favorite tunes from Rush. If it's true, this should be one helluva show.
KevinDallas Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 QUOTE (quickfree @ Apr 21 2010, 05:31 PM) Hope they bring back La Villa too. They need to play this so Alex can do his rant again which was SORELY missed on the last tour.
