GeddyRulz
http://blogs.menmedia.co.uk/old/ianwylie/the%20royle%20family200-thumb.jpg I've seen a few episodes of this show called "The Royle Family" which were pretty funny. My in-laws loved this show... but mention the similarly themed "Married With Children" and they would've thumbed their noses. It just goes to show: if the characters have British accents or the program was made in the UK, it automatically raises the "quality level" of the program... at least in the eyes of my elitist in-laws and others. Steevo
For starters I'd say Red Dwarf, League of Gentlemen and the brilliant Reggie Perrin . It takes some *seriously* good quality to make me laugh these days http://img191.imageshack.us/img191/7681/56575119.jpg Edited March 15, 2010 by Steevo

circumstantial tree
"Keeping Up Appearances" is funny. I don't watch it regularly, but will tune in every now and then. Another that I liked is "As Time Goes By" starring Judy Dench.
Alex
The British version of The Office is better than the American version.
Hatchetaxe&saw
QUOTE (Alex @ Mar 15 2010, 08:48 PM) The British version of The Office is better than the American version. I think the English version is brilliant, but the American version shades it. Steve Carrell's character is so creepy and needy, it's a comic masterclass. ReRushed
My wife loves Blackadder. I also like it. I watched a few episodes of Spaced and really liked what I saw. Otherwise, I like all the obvious ones, Fawlty Towers being my favorite.

Loved the naked boobs every once in awhile. Genius. Got to also give him his dues for pissing off the feminazis so much back in the day. Well done Benny, God they must've been a pita Never could get over how much Michael Jackson was such a fan as well.
